Butterful Bliss Whipped Scalp & Hair Butter

$15.00

When To Use

Hair butter is great for protective styles such as a twist out, braid out, and a sleek bun. It can be applied daily on both damp or dry hair.

Apply enough hair butter to dry; split ends to prevent breakage. You can also apply a light amount of hair butter to your scalp if you are suffering from a dry, flaking scalp. Hair oil is better for the scalp.

Hair Butter can also be used as a pre-shampoo treatment, a deep conditioning mask, or even an overnight scalp and hair mask.

How To Use

Scoop out a small amount of butter and melt it between your palms and apply to clean damp hair or even dry. Use as much needed for your desired hairstyle. Make sure to focus on your ends and areas of concern. Use the Ayurvedic hair butter after you apply the Beets and Hyaluronic Acid Leave in Conditioner, it can also be paired with the Ayurvedic Moisturizing Creme, and hair oil but is not necessary. Hair butter should be the final step before you style.

It’s best to use hair butter to protect your hair during a style as it helps to create a smooth, defined look.

Hair butter can also be used for a hot oil treatment. Scoop out 3-6 Tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt gently in a heat safe bowl. Add a carrier oil such as coconut, grapeseed, or olive oil to help dilute if you would like. Apply the melted warm oil to you scalp and lengths of hair completely coated. Add a plastic cap to trap the heat in to allow the oil to deeply penetrate your scalp and hair strands for 30min-3hours.

Benefits

Butters are rich in saturated fats, which allows them to enter the hair cuticle more easily. Our Ayurvedic hair butter is a natural blend of organic herbs and oils and unrefined/unbleached butters that acts as a moisturizing sealant to protect your hair from dryness and breakage.

Best used as a daily repair treatment for the scalp and hair to:

  • Boost strength and prolongs moisture

  • Aids in detangling and overall manageability

  • Reduces breakage and shedding

  • Controls scalp flaking, itchiness, and inflammation

Hair butter can protect hair from the damaging rays of the sun and the environment. Shea butter absorbs into hair strands, providing a natural form of UV protection.

Who should use it

Hair butter can be beneficial for people with dry, frizzy, coarse, or brittle hair, or hair that is prone to breakage or flyaways. It can also be good for high porosity or high density hair

People with fine hair, oily scalps, or low porosity hair should use small amounts or avoid using hair butter, as it can weigh down hair and increase product build up. The leave in our hair cream might be a better option for these hair types.

How Often To Use

Hair butter can seal moisture into the shaft but shouldn’t be used every day because of its potential to create build up but use as needed.

•Dry or damaged hair: Use 2–3 times a week

•Normal to oily hair: Use once a week or as needed

Don't Do!

Don’t use a hair butter if you are planning on a straightened style.

Don’t use past its shelf life. Once it smells rancid or bitter it’s time for the trash and order a new one

  • Don’t use hair butter with harsh gels that contain alcohol and silicones
